In selecting candidates, the University will follow the "UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for the Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in University and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education UGC Regulations 2018 available at the UGC website 

2. Remuneration per month: Selected candidates will be paid @ 1500/- per lecture up to a maximum of 50,000/- per month, as per UGC norms. No other emoluments, allowances, Medical reimbursement are admissible. No vacation salary is payable. Guest/Part time teachers will not be given the benefit of pension, gratuity etc.


3. Duration of the Engagement:

The selection of Guest Faculty shall be made by the University purely on temporary basis for 89 days. On the recommendations of the HoD and School Dean concerned, the services of the selected guest faculty may be utilized for another 89 days after giving one day break. However, total period should not be more than 11 months in a year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT:


As prescribed in clause 4.0 of the UGC Regulations 2018 for the post of Assistant Professor.


CRITERIA FOR SHORTLISTING OF CANDIDATES FOR INTERVIEW FOR THE GUEST FACULTY: As per criteria mentioned in Table 3A of Appendix-II of UGC Regulations 2018 for the post Assistant Professor.


GENERAL INFORMATION:


1. These engagements as Guest faculty are purely on temporary basis.


2. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.


3. Candidates already in employment would be required to submit a "No Objection Certificate" from the employer prior to the interview, failing which they may not be considered further.


4. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. More stringent criteria may be applied for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview. Applicants having higher qualification and merit will be given preference.


5. Only the short-listed candidates shall be interviewed.


6. Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed by a recognized University, Master's level shall also be considered valid.


7. The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at the time of engaging Guest Faculty or during the tenure of the engagement. In case, it is detected at any time that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has clandestine antecedents / background and has suppressed or altered the said information, then his/her services shall be terminated immediately and appropriate action shall be initiated as deemed fit.


8. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection of Guest Faculty, which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of letter to join the University reserves right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.


9. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University shall be final.


10. Candidates must send self-attested copies of certificates and mark-sheets from matriculation (10th Standard) onwards in support of their qualifications and reprints of publications and certificates in support of their claims for the post along with the hard copy of the Application Form (copy enclosed).


11. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications laid down in the advertisement/UGC Regulation 2018.


12.Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.


13.No interim correspondence shall be entertained.


14. All cases are subject to Sagar (MP) jurisdiction only.


15. Applications received without complete information or without requisite fee will be summarily rejected.


16. The University reserves the right not to fill up any of the vacancies advertised, if th ecircumstances so warrant.


17. The Guest Faculty can be terminated at any time without any prior notice.


18. The appointment will not establish any right claim for regularization/ absorption against any vacant posts in the University. 19. There is no provision of medical reimbursement for Guest Faculty.


20. The applicant must enclose with application form processing fee of Rs. 500/- for Unreserved/OBC category in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M.P.) 470003 payable at State Bank of India, University Branch, IFSC- SBIN0001143. SC/ST/PwD/EWS candidates are exempted from application process fee.


21. The duly filled in Application Form must reach to the Concerned Head of the Department, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar 470003 (M.P.) super scribing, "Application for Guest Faculty" on or before 11 April 2022 up to 6.00 P.M. through Speed Post/Registered Post only. Applications received after due date will not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for postal loss/delay.


22. The selected candidates will have to join immediately preferably within a week. No TA/DA or accommodation shall be provided for attending the interview
